Job Description The Senior Tax Manager will lead all facets of bespoke tax strategy for affluent individuals, family offices, and private business owners. The incumbent will design and execute advanced plans for estate and succession, trusts, cross-border structures, and complex corporate reorganizations, double tax planning for estates, overseeing the preparation and review of personal and corporate tax filings. Working closely with legal, investment, and financial-planning specialists, youll ensure each clients tax strategy integrates seamlessly with their broader wealth objectives while mentoring junior professionals at the firm. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end tax planning engagements for high-net-worth individuals and private corporations Develop and implement estate, trust, and succession plans to optimize wealth transfer Advise on cross-border tax structures, philanthropic giving, and alternative investment vehicles Oversee preparation and review of complex personal and corporate tax returns High level review of financial statements to identify tax planning opportunities Collaborate with legal, financial planning, and investment advisors of clients to deliver integrated solutions Mentor and develop junior tax professionals within the private client group Qualifications: CPA designation required; TEP designation and In-Depth or Masters in Taxation Minimum 10 years of progressive tax advisory experience focused on wealthy clients Deep knowledge of Canadian tax legislation, estate planning, and corporate restructurings Exceptional communication skills; confident presenting to family boards and executives Proven track record managing multiple sophisticated engagements and guiding junior staff Our Client: Our client is a boutique accounting firm renowned for its deeply specialized tax planning services.
