Working in a collaborative, team-based environment and reporting to the Managing Director and Head of Lending, the Director will be focused on building National Banks market presence and sourcing new full-service client relationships. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in business development and client/ COI relationship management and a deep understanding of credit to identify, negotiate, structure and underwrite complex corporate transactions. Primary Accountabilities: Develop a robust and effective marketing strategy for the assigned market in order to grow the client base and revenues, and build a prospect list with pitching / cross-sell plans for prospect customers in order to build a strong pipeline of full-service relationship opportunities; Demonstrate strong leadership/ co-ordination skills focused on market build out/ prospecting activities while developing and maintaining key internal and external partner relationships.
