Our client, a leading tax and accounting software company, is actively hiring a Senior Design Researcher to join their team in Toronto! This role will be hybrid and require 3x a week onsite. **This is an 11-month contract!* In this role, you will be responsible for guiding product, design, and marketing stakeholders in reframing their questions and assumptions into clear research goals and learning plans. You will provide recommendations and industry best practices to educate teams on quality research.Requirements: Manage projects end-to-end using the appropriate methodologies (in-depth interviews, diary studies, usability testing, concept/prototype testing, focus groups, surveys)Build a repository of qualitative insights across projectsFoster collaboration across various stakeholders and workstreamsSkills:5+ years of hands-on experience leading qualitative research projectsPrior experience working in Agile environmentsExperience with research and design tools, including usertesting.com and FigmaKnowledge of emerging technologies (AI, VR, or AR) in user research is a plusAbility to speak French is a plusMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
