We are seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide sales support to customers in addition to the inside and outside sales teams. If you have a strong student mentality, and are seeking an organization with structured training programs, mentorship and are focused on internal growth, we would love to hear from you!Responsibilities:Assist customers who purchase material in storeResearch product for customers and provide recommendations on our assortment of productDrive sales growth through ownership of counter merchandising and product promotionMaintain product knowledge on all product offeringsEnter, pick, and pack sales ordersMaintain and clean the counter area including any merchandising displaysInform the procurement team when inventory levels are lowFollow-up on back orders with vendors and provide customers with accurate delivery datesProcess returns to customers both on account and cash sales including paperwork in compliance with all proceduresProvide a professional atmosphere for walk-in customers while being an effective teammateUphold the organizations core values and ethics with every interactionBe courteous, friendly and build relationships with customers and vendorsQualifications:1+ years of experience with customer service, retail and/or food industry experienceOutstanding customer service and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn and operate software systems used to process ordersIntermediate math skills with a strong attention to detailAbility to learn how to operate material handling equipmentPossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrityAbility to work well independently and in a team settingRemuneration:Remuneration for this role consists of a base salary of $42,000 -45,000 plus profit sharing bonus, a great benefit program and huge growth and development opportunity with an industry leader!
