This is a critical hands-on role for a detail-oriented and experienced technician with deep technical knowledge of CNC machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.This role supports machine uptime, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) by performing proactive and corrective maintenance on CNC lathes, mill-turns, grinders, and high-speed machining centers. Candidates should have strong experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma controls, and a background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/Areas of Accountability:Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance on CNC equipment including ball screws, tool changers, spindles, servo motors, linear rails, and turrets.Troubleshoot and resolve machine faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC control systems.Program, reset, and calibrate Fanuc, Siemens, and/or Okuma CNC controls.Implement preventive maintenance routines using CMMS platforms (e.g., MaintainX, SAP PM).Use laser trackers, dial indicators, and precision tools to calibrate machine components.Diagnose and service hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems.Manage inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate procurement.Support machine retrofit projects including controller swaps and automation integrations.Document maintenance logs, service reports, PM checklists, and root cause analysis.Follow all LOTO procedures, OSHA regulations, and internal safety policies. Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Technical certification or associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance, Millwright preferred.Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in CNC maintenance.Expertise with Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma CNC systems.Experience with electrical schematics, PLCs, drives, and servo motion control systems.CMMS experience (e.g., MaintainX, eMaint, Fiix, SAP PM) preferred.
