About the Employer:I'm working alongside a leading modular construction firm based just north of Calgary. With two modern manufacturing facilities totaling 200,000 sq. ft. of insulated and heated workspace, this organization has been delivering innovative and cost-effective modular building solutions since 2004. They serve a diverse portfolio across the educational, commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional sectors.Position Summary:Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecyclefrom bidding through to delivery. This individual will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure the successful execution of building projects. The role requires excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as prior experience in modular or off-site construction projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate prospective and awarded projects including schedule, risk, budget, contract negotiation, design, construction, and customer satisfaction.Mentor and support Project Coordinators by delegating tasks and providing professional guidance.Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans.Review design documentation for accuracy and completeness.Prepare statements of work for trade contractor engagement.Collaborate closely with design, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery.Host weekly project update meetings.Manage site work activities alongside general contractors, trades, and field supervision.Minimize risk exposure and manage project scope effectively.Oversee revenue recognition, invoicing accuracy, and receivables.Review and approve project invoices; track project costs and report on financial performance.Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and lead internal teams to meet financial targets.Build and maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for ongoing collaboration.Conduct client site visits as needed.Anticipate client needs and provide proactive solutions.Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Building Technology.510 years of project management and direct construction experience.Experience with modular manufacturing, general contracting, and design-build projects.PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.Proficient with project scheduling and management software.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.Professional demeanor with high levels of integrity, tact, and maturity.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary, commensurate with experienceComprehensive health and benefits packageRRSP matching programPerformance-based bonus program
