The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing projects involving Azure Cloud implementation, networking, firewall configuration, hardware deployment, data center relocations, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and file server migrations. Superior organizational and project management skills are essential. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex IT projects that support the companys business transformation initiatives. Reporting to the Director, PMO, this role oversees projects from inception through completion, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. The manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder communications, and implement project management best practices to drive successful outcomes aligned with organizational goals. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables support strategic objectives. Reporting to the PMO Director, the manager will also be responsible for the successful implementation of customer order administration and small projects for both internal and client sponsors. This role involves managing time-sensitive tasks and facilitating creative solutions to overcome challenges. Important Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent Important Skills & Experience Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT project management or related fields. Strong knowledge of PMI methodologies; PMP certification or progress toward certification preferred. University degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated expertise in: Azure Cloud implementation Networking and firewall technologies Hardware deployment and infrastructure setup Data center relocations Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools. Project Financial Tracking and Management Desirable Skills & Experience IT project experience in a managed Services Organization Working Knowledge of MS Project Experience with MS PWA & Power BI Experience with a Ticket Management platform for example ServiceNow, Cherwell, Autotask or other Role Responsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of small to medium-sized IT projects across various domains, including: Private Cloud (Data Center and Network Services) Public Cloud (Azure, AWS) Data Center and Physical Infrastructure relocations ERP Systems (JDE, NetSuite, D365) Data and Analytics initiatives (Data Warehousing, Power BI, Internet of Things) Ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of customer projects. Oversee all phases of project implementation, aligning customer priorities with internal resources and supplier schedules. Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers and suppliers. Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to understand client business needs and ensure alignment with project outcomes. Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure successful solution delivery. Manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions and successful business outcomes. Maintain consistent and transparent communication with stakeholders during project execution. Administer and control project change requests, ensuring contractual compliance for out-of-scope work. Proactively communicate project status and escalate risks or delays, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues. Handle contract administration tasks, including extensions and billing adjustments. Facilitate internal and client-facing project planning and kickoff sessions. Ensure seamless transition of completed projects to the Customer Care and Service Operations teams.
