Job Description

The Plant HSE Coordinator partners with HSE Leadership and Brampton Site Leadership to drive sustainable HSE programs, and is responsible for leading and managing all Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives at the Brita Brampton Plant. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and Clorox corporate policies while fostering a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement and risk reduction. This individual will need to be self-guided to meet critical deadlines.In this role, you will:What will you do:Lead safety improvement initiatives using structured methodologies and tools.Train and mentor plant HSE leads to ensure daily support and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with the corporate HSE team to align plant practices with Clorox standards.Partner with HR on workplace injuries and workers compensation claims.Drive safety culture transformation by addressing behaviors, mindsets, and risk awareness.Develop and implement the plants HSE strategy and lead related projects.Lead the HSE committee, providing coaching to promote safe decision-making.Establish and maintain safe work environments across the facility.Oversee incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.Ensure compliance with OSHA and Clorox safety and environmental standards.Serve as the primary contact for safety and environmental inspections.Complete timely environmental regulatory reporting and permit renewals/applications.Align capital and investment planning with HSE priorities.Provide safety recommendations for new equipment and technologies.Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, including Zero Waste to Landfill.Conduct on-site assessments to identify and correct non-compliant behaviors or conditions.Manage the INTELEX HSE system and support user adoption.Oversee the plants Training & Qualification (T&Q) program.Ensure effective document control and audit readiness.Develop HSE training, and facilitate or promote HSE awareness through training, communication, and best practices.Participate in plant-wide events and foster a positive safety culture.Perform other duties as assigned.What you need to be successful:Bachelors degree in HSE or related discipline.Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant safety or similar role.At least 1 year of supervisory experience.Strong problem-solving skills; experience with Six Sigma or similar root cause analysis tools.Proficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC).Excellent organizational and time management skills.Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).Proficient in SAP, eQMS, Microsoft Office; adaptable to new systems (e.g., MES).Demonstrated leadership and collaboration abilities.Benefits we offer to help you be well and thrive:Competitive compensationGenerous 401(k) program in the US and similar programs in internationalHealth benefits and programs that support both your physical and mental well-beingFlexible work environment, depending on your roleMeaningful opportunities to keep learning and growingHalf-day Fridays, depending on your locationPlease apply directly to our job postings and do not submit your resume to any person via text message.
