We recognize potential and value sincerity, positivity and growth. **ABOUT THE JOB** **Responsibilities** The main responsibilities include: * Organizing and managing samples * Preparing COCs for samples and sending to lab and other facility for sensory and raw ingredient checks * Daily plant tour and identify and issues related to quality or food safety- issue work orders if needed * Water pH testing * Verifying CCPs and CFIA paperwork * Gluten free product testing * Product releases * Update HOLD log * Thermometer calibration * Allergen testing * Tasting of products for quality checks on daily basis. * Other QA related misc. tasks **What you will bring along** * Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) * 1 year plus experience as a QA technician is preferred * College diploma/University degree in Food Science/Microbiology/Food Safety or related discipline **This job is for you if:** * You are self-motivated, and have ability to work independently in a diverse team * You are always learning and teaching yourself * You have an impeccable attention to detail * You have an ability to think out of the box and take initiatives * You have ability to form effective working relationships * You take ownership of your work and hold your work to high standards * You are passionate and enthusiastic about making an impact * You value time and understand the importance of punctuality * You have proven ability to remain organized, prioritized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
