We are currently looking for SLEEVING SHIFT LEAD to join our OAKVILLE team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will support our Sleeving Team by assisting with daily operations during designated shifts to ensure all duties are completed effectively. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment! Responsibilities Replenishing Sleevers with trayed vinyl, fresh sleeves and empty towers Inspect trayed vinyl at shift start and throughout the shift; ensure travellers sheets are complete, correct and match with corresponding tray Providing direction to the team on QA related questions and overall workflow for the shift. Reviewing and inspecting vinyl according following the guidelines in the QA manual. Assist team members with troubleshooting with tablet entries Organizing the arrival of sleeved vinyl from other PRP locations Reporting and arranging the return of any flagged vinyl to the Quality Assurance department Reporting any issues or anomalies to the appropriate department Team Leader Review and sign off on the accuracy of each sleevers daily reports Move sleeved towers to designated areas and arrange towers based on packaging queue Organize and prepare tower dividers Retrieve and prepare empty trays in towers for return to PRP1 Sleeving trayed vinyl Other duties as assigned by Team Leader or designate Physical Demands Required to stand for entire duration of shift Must be able to carry, lift, push or pull up to 75 lbs intermittently throughout the shift Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels Involves repetitive motions: use of hands and wrist continuously in a controlled environment Requirements/Qualifications Previous experience with quality assurance of vinyl records, specifically visual checks, required Proficiency in Google Business Suite, specifically Google Sheets required Previous experience in a supervisory or coordinator role considered an asset Previous experience operating a walkie or counterbalance forklift is considered an asset; role will require operation of similar equipment Excellent communication skills: written, electronic and verbal Must be able to meet physical demands of job Must have strong attention to detail Must be flexible and adaptable to change Must be capable of working in stressful situations in times of need Must be able to work overtime as business needs require.
