With over a decade of continuous development, STG has established itself as the most competitive and modernized enterprise in the sector, offering comprehensive solutions and services to clients across the continent. **Why Work at STG** * Gain valuable experience working with enterprise-level systems * Bi-weekly payroll via direct deposit * Enjoy paid statutory holidays, vacation benefits, and insurance coverage * Access enhanced training opportunities in your job-related field * Reference letters available to support your future career development **Responsibilities** Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company, combining shipments based on their routes and timeline Determine the best delivery methods and negotiate rates Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another Prepares loads for shipment Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible Plan and track the shipment of final products according to the requirements Prepare accurate reports in requested system for upper management Data entry in company database for loads/items Relay information back to site supervisors if trucks are delayed or change in schedule. Communicate with drivers, vendors, managers, customers, and other dispatchers; Carrying out tasks on other assigned projects as needed Minimum Requirements: * A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations within Canada * Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (intermediate level) * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English * Familiarity with local shipment tracking and tracing processes * Competitive ability: **Exhibits excellent organizational skills in fast pace environment** * Must have a very high level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines * Familiar with customs clearance will be an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Do you have experience in Inbound logistics?
