Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton, and we are looking for an **EXPERIENCED SKID STEER OPERATOR** to join our **EXCAVATION SERVICES DIVISION.** This is a permanent seasonal position that offers a competitive wage with benefits. **Skid Steer Operator** primary duties will include but are not limited to: - Completing pre-trip and preventative maintenance on your assigned vehicle (greasing, etc.) - Operate vehicle, trailer and skid steer safely - Understanding of proper load securement - Experience driving a trailer - Have a clear understanding of the job you are to complete. - Ability to read drawings / blueprints - Understand grades and structures - Operate a laser level - Install material to grade with a skid steer - Transport materials with minimal spillage on roadways - Basic understanding of how to operate an excavator an asset - Maintain site cleanliness. Barricades, roadways, etc. - Perform general labouring duties as needed *Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment.
