**Overview** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of electrical systems, with the ability to maintain and repair various equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. **Responsibilities** * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory. * Fabricate and weld components as necessary to support repair efforts. * Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues and implement solutions. * Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs. * Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership in daily operations. * Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including repairs, parts used, and time spent on tasks. **Skills** * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. * Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and safety protocols. * Experience with facilities maintenance practices and procedures. * Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs. * Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks. * Leadership skills to effectively supervise a team of technicians. * Capability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving. * Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members across departments.
