**Water and Sewer Foreman (OUT OF TOWN WORK)** Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Water and Sewer Foreman to work on underground / water & sewer projects across Western Canada. We offer competitive wages for out of town work, LOA, benefits, matching RRSPs, work / life balance, great opportunity for advancement, training and potential for work over the winter. **Duties include (but are not limited to):** * Quality management working with project management and survey / consultant teams to ensure that workmanship meets / exceeds specifications * Health and safety management including hazard identification and analysis, worker competencies and HSE reporting * Schedule management ensure project timelines are maintained * Provide supervision on site and daily direction to crew * Delegation of tasks for all crew members * Site maintenance management of site housekeeping in accordance with client and company guidelines * Lead inspections and incidents - address deficiencies / issues through corrective actions * Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity **Required Skills:** * 3+ years of experience as an Underground Foreperson with sewer & water projects * Underground utility rehabilitation / replacement experience is an asset * Strong time management skills able to keep crews to task and maintain an established work schedule to complete the projects in a timely fashion * Organized and able to complete regular project documentation * Able to work independently and follow instruction from the superintendent * Able to support other positions as needed * Strong communication skills able to delegate and provide instructions clearly with sufficient detail * Proven leadership capabilities and able to mentor workers for advancement * First Aid and other certifications are considered assets * Valid drivers licence and clean drivers abstract **Required Certifications:** ***The following valid certifications are mandatory*** * CSTS 2020 * WHMIS 2015 * Ground Disturbance Level 2 * Standard First Aid * Leadership for Safety Excellence * Confined Space Entry * Fall Protection
