We currently have an opening for a Quality Assurance Technician on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to the following: **Responsibilities:** * Verify quality standard of process set-ups and continued process performance. * Detect and report, for further action, production and/or component issues pertinent to production safety, performance, artisanship, and dependability. * Assures product functions as it was designed and in a continuous and reliable manner. * Responsible for scrap auditing and reporting. * Must be willing and able to work weekend (when applicable), weekday; day, afternoon and midnight shift rotations **Education and Experience:** * Completed post-secondary technical diploma; a quality related discipline is preferred (ASQ certification an asset). * 3-5 years experience in Quality Assurance/Control, statistical process control, and/or Cost of Quality. * CMM education and experience * Experience with SPC and gauging will be considered an asset. * You must be able to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License. * Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment would be an asset. *In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Savage Arms is committed to accommodating individual needs of applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
