We are seeking a dedicated SVP, National Distribution Partners to develop and execute strategies that enhance our national distribution channels. This role involves building and implementing a comprehensive distribution strategy to support business growth, leading national broker relationships, managing KPIs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Underwriting, and Pricing. The focus is on innovation, performance, and profitability to shape the future of Aviva Canada''s distribution channels. What you''ll do: Deliver a consistent and effective national relationship experience with top brokers. Collaborate with regional Business Development leaders on national relationships and KPI management. Identify emerging issues and develop strategies to ensure long-term viability and profitability across Commercial and Personal Lines. Focus on profitability and improve Broker and Consumer NPS scores. Work with Underwriting Leadership to set and monitor sales and profitability targets. Set annual priorities and initiatives for continuous improvement. Maintain and grow effective national relationships, proactively addressing issues. Monitor the external competitive environment. Review underwriting policies and practices, providing recommendations. Represent the company to regulators, customers, suppliers, and external bodies. Develop controls to manage corporate risk. Lead projects related to distribution and broker community strategies, including change management. Oversee Risk and Control, Training, and Analytics functions to support data-driven decision-making. What you''ll bring: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience. Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP) desirable. Over 15 years of extensive property & casualty experience with leadership, marketing, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders. Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinking abilities. Significant decision-making responsibility impacting business outcomes and reputation. Ability to motivate and develop teams.
