About the Opportunity As a key member of our team, you will oversee the preparation and review of monthly property financial statements for a designated portfolio. This will include journal entry approvals, recovery reconciliations, and shortfall analysis. You will also review and compile property-related financial data for quarterly financial statements and MD&A reporting. In addition, you will finalize annual operating cost and property tax recovery reconciliations, liaise with external auditors, and respond to audit-related inquiries. You will provide leadership and support in preparing the annual operating budget and review budget submissions for assigned properties. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 7 years of property accounting experience, at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, and a strong understanding of budgeting, full-cycle accounting, and commercial lease terminology.
