About the Opportunity Financial Planning and Analysis: Review financial models, forecasts, and actuals to ensure accuracy and compliance. Develop annual budget and 5-year business plan with asset management team. Provide regular forecasting and reforecasting assistance, including related analytics. Monitor liquidity and assess capital needs for the business. Investment Management: Manage investments, including onboarding and offboarding, reviewing organizational structures, and coordinating with tax and accounting teams. Prepare financial information and analytics for reporting purposes. Prepare materials for valuation meetings, board meetings, and quarterly results meetings. Oversee affiliate fee management, ensuring accurate calculations and timely payments. Prepare investor capital calls and distributions. Maintain intercompany reconciliations monthly to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with organizational policies. Reporting and Compliance: Prepare financial statements and investor reports in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS. Partner with internal SOX team and external auditors to address audit inquiries and assist with tax reporting. Required Skills and Qualifications: Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA, CA). At least 6+ years of progressive work experience in public accounting and industry, with a mix of real estate and capital markets experience preferred. Managing a finance team for 3+ years. Strong technical understanding of IFRS and consolidation, and US GAAP accounting is preferred. Experience with accounting and consolidation tools, with adaptability to learning new systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Benefits: Total Compensation Package: Competitive salary range $120,000 to $125,000 per year.
