## Job Summary Considered a Line Cook responsible for running the grill operations. Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment. - Prepare item for broiling, grilling, frying, sauting or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating. - Use established ticket-collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods. - Comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures. - Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period. - Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, saut burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment. - Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. **Qualifications:** Think you have what it takes to be one of our **Grill** **Cooks**? Heres how well know youll be successful in the role: - Two years working experience as a grill cook or in kitchen preparation and cooking. - FoodSafe Level 1 Certification. - Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel. - Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours). - Able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills. - Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
