Job Title

**Job Scope:** The Industrial Electrician will install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls for Theta TTS and its ancillary organizations. **Job Responsibilities:** * Read, interpret and update drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. * Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components * Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices to ensure production continuity with minimum downtime * Conduct preventative maintenance programs and update maintenance records * Troubleshoot and program PLCs and related automated equipment * Build, modify and install panels to facilitate ongoing equipment upgrades * Order and maintain a suitable inventory of spare electrical components * Provide off-shift emergency support as required * Schedule inspections with Electrical Safety Authority when necessary * Follow Company policies and procedures * Maintain safety and housekeeping at all times * Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager **Qualifications:** * High School graduate * Valid electrician certificate * Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial environment * Proficient in PLC programming * Valid drivers license **Working Conditions:** * Work is mostly inside in a factory environment. * Must wear appropriate safety equipment * Some work may be performed at other Theta TTS company locations in Barrie * May be required to lift up to 22 kg (50 lbs.)
