We manufacture our product in **Fort Macleod, AB,** just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB. We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility. **Role:** Forklift Operator Coil Management **Job Type:** Full-time **Shift:** Day Shift At Forma Steel, our **Core Values** are at the heart of everything we do. To be successful in this role, the ideal Candidate will: * Be Passionate, Positive and Productive * Be Respectful, Helpful and Caring * Be Responsible and Reliable * Be Solution-Focused * Do the Right Thing As a Yard Operator You Will: * Assist with management of the steel coils, including loading, unloading, and organizing them. * Operate forklift safely and follow all safety procedures and rules. * Complete any other work assigned by supervisor/lead hand. * Deliver material to the production facility. Our Yard Operators Have: * At least 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing facility (Combi Lift is an asset). * Safe work mindset and commitment to safety. * Ability to interpret and accurately fill orders. * Operate a computer and interact with customers picking up orders. * Basic math skills and ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English. * Team mentality and ability to work well with others. * Physical capability to perform their job safely (push, pull lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time). * Capability of working in a manufacturing environment.
