**Company Overview:** Northplex Ltd. is a modular home company that builds and sells **solid** homes in Western Canada. Our stylish modular homes are built in a 165,000 square foot climate-controlled facility in Barrhead, Alberta. **Job Summary:** Northplex Ltd. is currently seeking a Full Time **Labourer, Yard Maintenance** located in Barrhead, AB. This position is responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the yard and the facility. **Key Responsibilites:** * Focus on cleanliness of the yard and equipment * Moving materials and equipment around yard * Load and unload materials with a loader as well as by hand * Yard and property maintenance; responsible for maintaining the yard as well as the inventory located on the property * Assisting in pulling houses out of the plant * Assisting stockyard to putting away materials * Unload incoming materials on trailers * Organized and be able to multi-task simultaneously * Must be experienced in operating a Zoom Boom * Must be experienced in operating a front loader * Must be experienced in operating a Forklift * Some Mechanics experience required * Other duties as assigned by the supervisor **Position Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:** * Valid Driver License * Equipment operation experience is an asset * Highly organized, good work ethic, willing to learn, and good attendance * Team-player with good attitude * Must be able to lift up to a max of 50 lbs * Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Proven ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety procedures **What we offer** * Monday-Friday * Comprehensive Benefits Package * Competitive Wages * Advancement and Continuous Learning Opportunities **Wage is determined by experience and qualifications.* We thank all candidates for their applications; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
