We require an experienced technician who will maintain and repair a variety of makes/models of equipment as a key resource to help us continue to provide dependable, timely service to our customers. **The challenges we have for you:****:** * Perform preventative maintenance and conduct routine inspections * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and make recommendations on repair options * Work on a variety of equipment including forklifts, loaders, skid steers, material handling equipment and heavy tractor trailer * Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts * Comprehend equipment manuals, diagrams, and schematic drawings * Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Follow all company safety policies and procedures * Other projects and duties as assigned **The skills we are looking for:****:** * Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment related issues * Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities * A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Experience of 2 -3 years'' as a Heavy Equipment Technician * Journeyman, or red seal certification (preferred) * Position is open to 3rd or 4th year apprentices * CVIP experience or license is an asset * Valid Class 5 Drivers License with drivers abstract in good standing * Must have own tools **Company Offers:****:** * Dental care * Vision care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Disability insurance * On site parking * Competitive compensation * Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment * Positive work/life balance * Monday to Friday
