Located near Toronto Pearson airport, it features a restaurant and bar with over 1000 square feet of banquet space. **JOB OVERVIEW** We are currently seeking a **dedicated Full-Time Prep Cook** to join our dynamic culinary department. The successful candidate will support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen tools and work areas, and collaborating with the Executive Chef and kitchen team as needed. A friendly attitude, good work ethic, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assist with food preparation for the restaurant and banquet functions as directed by the Executive Chef. * Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards. * Ensure workstations, utensils, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and organized. * Operate dishwashing equipment as needed and assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks. * Sweep and mop kitchen floors, empty garbage, and maintain proper waste disposal. * Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries and supplies. * Follow hotel safety and sanitation policies at all times. * Communicate and coordinate with other departments including Banquets, Outlets, and Maintenance. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager. **QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS** * Basic food preparation skills. * Friendly, cooperative, and service-focused attitude. * Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for extended periods. * Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments. * Team-oriented with good communication skills. * Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an asset but not required. **HEALTH AND SAFETY** * Follow all safe work procedures including use of PPE. * Comply with OHSA regulations and hotel policies. * Immediately report injuries, illnesses, or unsafe conditions to management. * Participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee if applicable. **WHY JOIN US?** * **Health, Vision, and Dental Coverage** (for eligible team members) * **Employee Social Events** * **Career Development & Educational Reimbursements** * **Worldwide Hotel Discounts at Hilton Hotels** * **Discounts on 500+ brands** * **Mentorship Program** **Join our team and be part of a professional, supportive, and welcoming environment.
