We represent many of the leading truck equipment manufacturers throughout North America and have the knowledge and experience to install even the most complicated snow and ice truck equipment packages. In Canada, our products are built and installed through our main plant in Mount Forest, Ontario, and through our factory stores in Calgary and Edmonton. In this role, the successful candidate will partake in a hands-on role to coordinate, prepare, optimize, and track all inventory as well as shipping and receiving functions. **Job Duties:** Know what material must go out and what is on the production floor Co-ordinate shipping schedule/ensure the flow of materials within/from the plant as well as inbound materials to customers To ensure all orders are accounted for, filled, and delivered on time Unload, sort, and load material, ensuring proper handling Determine method of shipment and schedule; prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents. Process information as required to provide period end reports Compliance with Health and Safety and PPE requirements to ensure proper methods and procedures are being used, and that quality, safety, environment standards are being met Maintain a safe and clean work environment Conduct inventory counts as required Assist in other areas of the department when needed Lift upwards of **50lbs** Willing to work overtime when required **Skills & Qualifications:** Forklift and related warehousing equipment experience Numeracy and attention to detail with accuracy of information and data Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly (verbal and written) Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Computer experience with word documents, spreadsheets, ERP software and MRP software Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Overhead Crane Use Class 5 Drivers License **Education/Experience:** High School Diploma or its equivalent, 2+ years of related experience Experience in shipping/receiving departments, stocking preferred *Viking Cives Ltd. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
