In this role, youll work closely with the Site Supervisor to coordinate finishing trades, maintain quality standards, and help deliver projects on time and on budget.Your Impact:As Assistant Site Supervisor, you will oversee the final phases of construction, ensuring all finishing work meets high standards. Responsibilities include:Trade Coordination: Assist in scheduling and managing finishing trades such as drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, cabinetry, and appliances.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and ensure all deficiencies are addressed promptly.Labour Oversight: Direct the labour force, assign tasks, and maintain accurate time records.Safety Leadership: Enforce compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company policies, ensuring a safe jobsite.Problem Solving: Identify issues, evaluate solutions, and communicate effectively with the Site Supervisor and trades.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records, monitor change notices, and assist in organizing daily site meetings.What Were Looking For:3+ years experience as an Assistant Site Supervisor or lead hand in high-mid rise or stacked home residential construction.Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and Health & Safety regulations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD experience is an asset.Valid drivers license and ability to work at various sites in Southwestern Ontario.Why Apply?Be part of a respected, award-winning builder with a reputation for excellence.Competitive compensation and opportunities for career growth.Work on landmark high-rise projects shaping communities across Ontario.Join a supportive team culture committed to quality and innovation.
