In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of conveyor systems critical to our manufacturing processes. **Key Responsibilities:** **Conveyor System Assembly:** Lead the assembly and installation of conveyor systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components, following blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications. **Quality Assurance:** Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all conveyor systems meet the company''s high standards for performance and safety. **Troubleshooting and Repairs:** Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in existing conveyor systems, minimizing downtime and optimizing efficiency. **Team Leadership:** Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians and assembly teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required standards. **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of assembly procedures, repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory. Update documentation as necessary to reflect changes and improvements. **Safety Compliance:** Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, and promote a culture of safety within the team. Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly. **Continuous Improvement:** Collaborate with engineers and other departments to identify opportunities for conveyor system improvements, upgrades, and innovations. **Training:** Stay current with industry trends and advancements in conveyor technology. Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to team members as needed. **Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in a related field is a plus. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in conveyor system assembly, installation, and maintenance. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. * Excellent leadership and communication abilities. * Commitment to safety and a track record of adhering to safety protocols. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. * Familiarity with conveyor system components and technologies.
