ScopeWe are currently moving into a new resource-phase of exploration at GFG Resources and are accepting applications for a Project/Senior Project Exploration Geologist at our projects in Ontario, Canada.The role is a full-time permanent position and will report directly to the Exploration Manager. Competitive salary, benefits package and equity participation are included. The site office is located in Timmins, Ontario and work shifts are generally 20 days-on and 10 days-off with flexibility in the work schedule depending on place of residence and seasonality of field activities.Work from home with balanced hours is anticipated.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe main duties and responsibilities for this position are: Establish and maintain a safe and environmentally conscientious work environment Execution of field programs Collaborate with technical team to identify and prioritize field work and drill targetsCore-logging, oriented core, data management and review, report writing, and compilation workReporting and compilation of completed work data over several project areasData input, digitization, and compilationData review and 2D/3D visualizationSkills and QualificationsThe skills required for this position are generally in-line with candidates having at least 4 years of industry experience including:Bachelors degree in GeologySkillset in data integration and preferred experience orogenic gold depositsExperience in field-based collection and interpretation of geological and structural data Background in GIS and 3D software programs such as ArcGIS Pro, Geosoft and LeapfrogAbility to work in a team environment based on mentoring and relationship-building Company OverviewGFG Resources is a North American focused precious metals exploration company headquartered in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, whose shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange (GFG) and on the OTCQB (GFGSF).
