Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Responsibilities:Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, procurement and construction specialists, contractors, vendors and other project support staff/stakeholders.Manage nuclear related projects. Manage staff and subcontractors to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects to meet or exceed client expectationsMonitors, tracks and controls project budget, schedule, and performance of projectsIdentifies ways to improve project outcomes. Provide leadership to the Project TeamCommunicate project updates with client and other key stakeholdersClient delivery responsibility and establishing requirements as per procurement procedure Assembles and leads meetings with project team members to communicate project scopesQualifications:A university degree in engineering or technical degree/diploma is considered an asset. Other professional qualifications will be considered with relevant experience10+ years experience in project management experience that includes leading and managing large multidiscipline projects, or large single discipline projectsWorking experience as a Project Manager on nuclear/power related projects is considered an assetRegistered Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) and/or PMP certification would be a strong assetStrong client management skills required to address challenging client requirements and ensuring client satisfaction.Working experience in principles and practices of nuclear engineering as applied to design and construction of projects is preferred.Nuclear (OPG or Bruce Power) experience is considered an asset Experienced in the use of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets.Coaching, professional service management, communication and interpersonal skills are essentialMust be eligible to obtain security clearanceAdditional InformationA requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada.
