We are looking for a project manager for our client- a rebar fabrication company. Required Skills-10 years Canadian Construction in rebar or with a GC linked to concrete scopes.Strong Structural skillsProficient in AutoCAD. From Creating template to full 3d drafting.Extensive knowledge on how a site progressStrong English and English comprehensionAbility to manage coordinators for multiple projects.Knowledge in change order process and how to execute a change order.Roles & Responsibilities-Build and maintain coordination in the team.Initiate the planning process by defining the projects scope, goals, and objectives. Create detailed project plans. Ability to lead coordination team through all stages of project.Allocate resources efficiently, including rebar material, labor, and equipment.Develop and manage schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks.Monitor expenses, track costs, and ensure adherence to financial limits.Implement cost saving measures while maintaining quality standards.Interact with clients and engineers. Address clients concerns, provide updates and manage expectations.Manage any conflicts and issues that arise during the project.Ensure that rebar drawings meet industry standards and project specifications.Adhere to safety regulations, building codes and environmental guidelines.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges to prevent delays or cost overruns.Lead and motivate project team, including rebar detailer, Coordinators, contractors, and subcontractors.
