We're looking for experienced aerospace professionals with strong skills in finite element analysis (FEA), hand calculations, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed and global FEA (DFEM and GFEM) for aircraft structuresConduct hand calculations for static strength, fatigue, and damage toleranceAnalyze key components: fuselage, wings, empennage, nacelles, interiors, and landing gear areasCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Loads, Materials, Liaison Engineering)Prepare stress reports, substantiation documents, and compliance packagesSupport certification with authorities (TCCA, FAA, EASA)Mentor junior engineers and help develop engineering tools and best practicesQualifications:Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering10+ years of experience in structural stress analysis in aerospaceProficient with FEM tools like NASTRAN, Patran, HyperMesh, FEMAP, or ANSYSStrong in DFEM/GFEM modeling, mesh techniques, and interpreting resultsSkilled in classical hand calculations (Bruhn, Niu, Roark, etc.)Familiar with scripting (Python, MATLAB) and Excel-based toolsKnowledge of aircraft certification standards (FAR/CS Part 25)Experience with substantiation reports and working with DERs/DARsNice to Have:Experience with legacy aircraft and structural modifications/repairsKnowledge of composites, weight optimization, or crashworthinessFamiliarity with PLM systems like ENOVIA or SmarTeam
