Position: **Custom Millwork Team Lead** **Qualifications:** * Excellent leadership skills personable, organized and supportive. * Custom millwork experience is essential. * Red Seal Joinery is an asset. * Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings * Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and materials. Technical Support Collaborate with staff to find the best build strategy and ensure follow through. Quality Control. Crosstrain staff Develop skills through Innergy, AWMAC, SICA, and BCIT Joinery program. Innergy software competency. Strategic Planning Balance workload the best tool/person for each task, distribute the work evenly. Forecast workload - anticipate peaks & valleys and flex staff accordingly. Meet deadlines accurately estimate workload & provide feedback of variances. Communicate effectively to staff of expectations & timelines. Resource planning materials, tools, training, equipment. Collaborate w/management to set department & individual goals Personal Management Provide annual Performance Reviews. Manage time off request and ensure adequate staffing levels. Onboarding new staff. Disciplinary actions when needed. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and positivity. **Wage Range:** $33-36 per hour based on experience **Hours:** Monday to Friday 6:00am 2:30pm **Benefits**: Red Seal joinery sponsorship & and other training tools.
