Overview: We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Insurance Broker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal departments to develop, market, and manage both new and renewal business across a diverse client base. This role offers the opportunity to write both personal and commercial lines of insurance, providing a well-rounded and dynamic career path. A strong understanding of the insurance marketplace, combined with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, is essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation and analytical skills to evaluate client needs and develop tailored proposals and recommendations. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is key to thriving in this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized insurance solutions to meet both personal and commercial coverage needs. Evaluate clients existing insurance policies and recommend adjustments to ensure adequate protection. Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within personal and commercial lines. Research and compare insurance products from multiple carriers; present clear, customized options to clients. Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process. Monitor industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and timely advice. Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and internal stakeholders to negotiate competitive terms and secure optimal outcomes for clients. Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, coverage details, and policy changes. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar advisory role. Working knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance products, policy structures, and underwriting procedures. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a history of achieving or exceeding performance targets. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities. Detail-oriented and analytical, with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities. RIBO license (or in the process of obtaining one) is required.
