The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe running of the shift, working in partnership with the nurse in charge, engaging with care planning, managing the administration, storage and ordering of medications, supporting the MDT with the patients'' personalized timetabling, ensuring the environment is well maintained. Salary: 14.93 per hour What You''ll Be Doing Ensure quality care and rehabilitation services that support patients throughout their care pathway while promoting independence and safeguarding their rights to choice, dignity, privacy, and safety. Assist qualified staff and healthcare professionals in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care without direct supervision of a registered practitioner. Act as a Rehabilitation Team leader to ensure holistic care delivery and standards enhancement. Communicate effectively within the team, with other healthcare professionals, and with patients, families, and visitors. Maintain high standards in a safe, inclusive environment that promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals. Regularly assess, evaluate, and report actions and activities to registered practitioners and/or the multidisciplinary care team. Supervise and delegate work to junior team members. Assess the skills, competencies, and qualifications of junior staff, including NVQs. Undergo training and gain competencies for the safe administration, storage, and ordering of medications. Participate in training to develop skills to meet the needs of service users. Conduct regular supervisions to ensure staff competencies and standards are maintained. Act as a preceptor for new staff, providing support and guidance. Support the creation of care plans, case reviews, and discharge notes tailored to service users needs. Essential Educated to NVQ 3/4, foundation degree, or equivalent through training and experience. Desirable Experience in the specialty area. Grade C or above in GCSE Math and English (or equivalent). Willingness to undertake training to teach in the lifelong learning sector.
