Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Position Summary: Drive profitable sales growth by developing and expanding customer relationships, with a focus on providing tailored solutions in the construction and steel reinforcement (rebar) industry. This role is responsible for generating new business, retaining and growing existing accounts, and promoting the company''s rebar products and related services using a consultative, value-based selling approach. Key Responsibilities: Achieve annual sales targets through the acquisition of new customers and expansion of existing accounts, with a focus on rebar products. Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and customer engagement across assigned regions or portfolios. Leverage industry knowledge to present value-added solutions that align with customers construction and reinforcement needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, project managers, and procurement teams at all levels. Identify new opportunities and customer segments in the construction industry, particularly in infrastructure and commercial projects. Analyze customer purchasing behavior and market trends to refine sales strategy and optimize customer targeting. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service excellence and on-time delivery of products. Stay informed on rebar product specifications, industry standards, and technical developments to support customer inquiries and project requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree in business, construction management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the construction industry, including at least 3 years focused specifically on selling rebar products. Strong understanding of construction materials and reinforcement applications. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, preferably in a remote or field-based role. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with CRM tools and basic business software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
