The Opportunity The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing maintenance duties related to electrical, heating, mechanical, plumbing systems, and building equipment. What Is In It For You Ensure work areas are clean and safe, and walkways are free of snow, ice, and debris. Complete routine fire and preventative inspections, ensuring proper record keeping. Follow occupational health and safety policies and regulations, ensuring the safety of residents, staff, and the public. Repair faulty equipment affecting resident care (e.g., beds, chairs, taps, toilets, drains). Repair damaged walls and paint resident rooms and common areas. Assist in repairing electrical and mechanical equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, pumps, fans, motors, boilers). Perform routine inspections of lighting and change bulbs as needed. Perform minor carpentry projects and other duties as required. What You Will Need Secondary school education with some technical training. Previous experience in a related maintenance role.
