YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE: Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, you will be part of the Capital Projects Department. You will be aware of all detailed project contract and sub-contract documents, including the plans and specifications described in the contract documents. You will play an important part in the construction activities follow-up at the project site. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagles values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment. Contribute to the contractual approach and strategy with contract agent/administrator Examine, analyze, and revise contracts involving the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure proper ordering or purchasing of equipment, materials, and subcontractor services Manage contract work related to contracts Perform trend analysis associated with contracts Negotiate contractual conditions for contract changes Conduct weekly site meetings with contractors Monitor delivery schedules, work progress, and communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues Collaborate with Engineering Lead, Project Leads, Construction Superintendent, Engineers, and others to meet project objectives Handle contractual change control related to cost and time Manage payment certification and cash flow forecasting Administer claims and negotiate resolutions Maintain various contract registers as per project instructions Drive deliverables and inputs from quantity surveyors Manage contract close-out processes WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelors degree in administration, finance, law, engineering, or a relevant field 3-5 years of experience in contract administration Experience in mining and/or large-scale construction projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Your Work Schedule: Schedule: 4 days of work, followed by 3 days for transportation and rest at our Detour Lake Mine Accommodations and meals are provided on-site at no cost.
