Summary Ainsworth Winnipeg is hiring Journeyman and Apprentice HVAC Technicians. We are a Canada-wide company leading in building systems, offering services including electrical, building automation, security, and mechanical services. Responsibilities Represent Ainsworth professionally and courteously on every call, acting as a proud ambassador for our company. Read, interpret, create, and maintain drawings and specifications. Install, overhaul, and service air conditioning, heating, and related equipment. Repair and replace parts on HVAC systems, including condensers, compressors, valves, and piping. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems. Install motors, thermostats, and humidistats. Instruct customers on proper equipment care and maintenance. Supervise and coordinate activities of apprentices. Stay updated on modern equipment and regulations. Enforce safety regulations and adhere to company policies and procedures. Perform all duties safely, complying with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations. Support other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications High School diploma or GED from a certified college. Valid driver''s license. Knowledge of tools, equipment, and practices of the trade. Knowledge of HVAC gas codes, standards, and safety precautions. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills.
