As a Technical Service Representative, youll play a key role in shaping our customers experience by ensuring the highest standard of technical expertise, service, and support. As a TSR, youll be the go-to expert for coatings application and troubleshooting across industrial and energy sectors. Youll work alongside the sales team to deliver technical excellence during product trials, customer consultations, and process evaluationsensuring our customers achieve outstanding results with AkzoNobel products. Approximately 50% travel to customer sites is required. The role primarily supports Eastern Canada, mainly Ontario, with some travel to Atlantic provinces. The ideal candidate resides in Southern Ontario, within one hour of a major airport. Key Accountabilities Deliver expert guidance on coating/painting best practices and surface preparation Conduct technical reviews, quality inspections, and product application monitoring Support sales by leading product trials and helping customers achieve optimal application outcomes Document key findings, environmental conditions, and any application deviations Resolve customer issues on-site and provide data-driven recommendations Maintain detailed application records and inspection reports Requirements 5+ years in technical service or industrial sales 35 years of hands-on coating application experience (preferably in heavy industrial or oil & gas) NACE Level I, II, or III (preferred, but not required) Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 kg several times with ease, comfortable climbing tall ladders and working in industrial environments Tech-savvy: Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications Comfortable working independently and traveling (up to 50%, including U.S. travel) Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset Ready to make your mark with a global leader in coatings technology?
