Job Description As an automation specialist, you will design, program, test, and commission automated equipment, focusing on programmable logic controllers and industrial computing. Main Responsibilities Participate in designing automated systems based on application specifications and write functional analyses. Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs. Conduct performance tests using 3D emulation tools and ensure compliance. Program PLCs, HMI, SCADA, cameras, and other automated equipment. Oversee start-up and commissioning of automated equipment on site and train operators. Act as a technical resource during the warranty phase. Analyze equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions. Ensure operational readiness of sold automated systems meeting customer expectations. Participate in service offering processes. Provide coaching and support to other automation specialists as needed. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Required Profile University degree or college diploma in industrial automation. 57 years of experience in the field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Customer-oriented mindset. Judgment and resourcefulness. Team player. Willing to work overtime occasionally. Valid passport and ability to travel internationally. Proficient in MS Office. Fluent in English (advanced level). Technical skills: Profibus, Profinet/Ethernet, Siemens products (S7 300, S7-1500, TIA Portal), SCADA (WinCC, InTouch), Allen-Bradley products (asset).
