**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who will be responsible for performing pre-shift inspections and morning start-up of equipment, operating manual lathes with either a foot press or hand button, stripping materials, and using an overhead crane to move materials. The ideal candidate will follow detailed instructions to set up and operate machinery efficiently. **Responsibilities** Conduct pre-shift inspections and morning start-up of equipment. Operate manual lathes using a foot press or hand button. Strip materials as required. Utilize an overhead crane to move materials. Set up machines according to instructions and specifications. Ensure the quality of formed hoses by performing quality checks. Package completed products for dispatch. **Essential Skills** Experience in machine operation, specifically manual machine operating. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and processes. Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting 30-40 lbs. Comfortable working in close proximity to machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Punch press experience. Lathe machine experience. General labor and insulation experience.
