**General Production Worker - Machine Operator Helper** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Production Worker in the Wet End Helper role, where you''''ll operate the Double Gluer Station and contribute to our high-quality production process. This position involves preparing rolls, setting glue and meter roll gaps, monitoring starch flow, and ensuring board quality. Work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and skill development. **Responsibilities** Prepare rolls into roll stands as required by the lineup. Ensure contact bars are clean and correctly positioned. Set glue and meter roll gaps for proper starch application. Regularly check the web for crush and starch. Change pre-heater wraps and adjust settings to correct warp. Communicate with the dry end regarding board quality. Adjust hot plate Bartrol Boots as necessary. Monitor starch flow in pans. Thread single face web through glue station as needed. Adjust hot plate temperature as required. Check rolls for proper grade and size. Operate splicers efficiently. Constantly check the quality of the board to achieve zero defects. **Essential Skills** 1.5 years of machine operating and production line work experience 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment Quality assurance and inspection experience Ability to work in a hot environment Capability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working rotating shifts **Work Environment** The work environment is dynamic and sometimes noisy, particularly on the wet end side of the machine. The facility consists of stacked corrugated rolls and storage, with one major press line. You will work alongside 57 friendly colleagues. Training takes place during the day for 1-2 months, followed by rotating shifts: Days (7am-3pm), Afternoons (3pm-11pm with a $0.90 premium), and Nights (11pm-7am with a $1.10 premium).
