Maintenance - Central Alberta Kitchens, located in Rocky View County, AB, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician. This is an exciting opportunity that brings together the retail grocery sector and an enhanced culinary experience. The Maintenance Technician is responsible to perform preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will assist with repairs on all equipment throughout the site, actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment, and ensures proper record keeping of site equipment. Hereu2019s where youu2019ll be focusing: NIGHT SHIFT u00b7 Follow and maintain preventative maintenance schedule on all equipment and building. u00b7 Understand Preventive Maintenance Programs u00b7 Perform necessary repairs and PMu2019s on all equipment and building. u00b7 Maintain parts inventory and re-ordering replacement parts as needed. u00b7 Complete all daily inspections in a thorough and timely manner. u00b7 Adhere to and implement all applicable Food Safety program requirements. u00b7 Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company requirements. u00b7 Adhere and implement all applicable company safety standards. u00b7 All other duties as required to maintain the central kitchen. #INDCKAB What you have to offer: u00b7 Technical training and/or 3-yearsu2019 experience in maintenance and repair for various types of machinery, facility material handling, and refrigeration systems. u00b7 Journeyman ticket in one of the building trades u2013 e.g., electrician, plumbing or millwright (preferred). u00b7 Experience in general technical troubleshooting of building equipment and hands-on operating, diagnostics, and repair. u00b7 Understand Preventive Maintenance Programs. u00b7 Knowledge and experience of an Industrial Refrigeration System. u00b7 Knowledge and experience of Sprinkler or Fire control system. u00b7 Experience in a food manufacturing, warehouse, or production operations maintenance environment (preferred). u00b7 Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility. u00b7 Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for tracking and scheduling of maintenance of repairs. u00b7 Ability to safely use required tools to perform duties assigned. u00b7 Experience in use of Hot Work Permits. u00b7 Experience in use of Red Tag Permits. u00b7 Available to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
