Be a part of the Longevity Acrylics Team. We are currently hiring General Labourers to work in our manufacturing facility. As a team member you will assist in the manufacturing of our bathtubs, showers and tubshowers for the Canadian market, while adding value to our brand through your knowledge. * Permanent position * ***Salary $20.25*** * Benefits after 6 worked months **Duties** * Assist machine operators in manufacturing products * Transport raw materials, parts, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the plant and warehouse manually * Mark, record and report defective products * Roll out spray material on acrylic shell to achieve uniformity, proper adherence and good appearance using due care to prevent breakage * Grind or polish surfaces using abrasive tools * Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times * Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of the day **Requirements** * Ability to work in a hot, humid and noisy environment * Ability to carry heavy objects (50lbs), walking, stooping, kneeling, standing for long periods of time and other physically demanding conditions * Ability to perform strenuous physical labour and repetitive * Must be able to understand and communicate in English (written and verbal) * Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment **Schedule** Monday to Thursday Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Summerstown, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): * Must have reliable mode of transportation to Summerstown, ON Work Location: In person
