Job Title

The Shift Engineer has the responsibility of taking complete care and maintenance of all the mechanical equipment in the hotel including high- and low-pressure boilers guest rooms and equipment related to engineering. What you will be doing : Attend to all guest issues in 340 guest rooms in the hotel. Support Rooms Maintenance personnel in project works in guest rooms. Take temperature readings of all supply air units concourse tenant spaces meeting rooms restaurants guest rooms converters walk-in freezers and refrigeratorsIdentifying any issues to rectify. Complete walk-throughs in all areas of the hotel to visually inspectrepair and / or report deficiencies. Complete maintenanceofall other engineering equipmentsuch as Chiller / Cooling equipment Boilers Guarded Status and the Pool. Qualifications : Must be a holder of a Provincial 5th class power engineering ticket from the Department of Labour. High School diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Trade experience in areas such as basic plumbing drywall repair and painting considered an asset.
