The role of Gas Turbine Repair Engineer reports to the Senior Engineer. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):Designing and engineering of repairs and upgrades to gas turbine hot section componentsEngaging in continuous improvement efforts to assist with shop floor efficiencyUnderstanding and interpreting component drawings and material specificationsCommissioning, tooling on specialized equipmentProject management tasksUtilizing various design softwarePerforming fixture designsDesigning mechanical componentsEngineering and designing for welding, brazing, HVOF and coatingPerforming Failure Modes Effect AnalysisKey Skill Requirements:Strong inter-personal and inter-departmental communication skillsHighly organized, motivated and project drivenExcellent multi-tasking skillsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeSuperior written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership skillsKey Experience/Education:Graduate of a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering program requiredB Eng or BA Sc requiredP.
