North Region Director of Parts Responsibilities: u00b7 Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them u00b7 Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of the Parts department u00b7 Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the Parts department u00b7 Maintains reporting systems required by management and the factory u00b7 Monitors the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems, and surveys u00b7 Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect Parts operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know u00b7 Ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures u00b7 Accounts for documents; ensures none are missing and are processed correctly u00b7 Fosters professional employee development and coordinates with department managers to determine training needs u00b7 Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business u00b7 Serves as liaison with factory representatives u00b7 Develop and maintain pricing guides and coordinate the usage throughout the Parts organization u00b7 Handles customer complaints immediately and per companyu2019s guidelines u00b7 Establishes and maintains 24-hour follow-up with all customers to confirm satisfaction with the Parts experience u00b7 Establishes and maintains good working relationships with other departments u00b7 Facilitates and/or conducts training on proper techniques, policies, regulations, and best practices and recommends employees to appropriate training as needed u00b7 Understands and follows work rules and procedures u00b7 Follows attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standards including recording time of arrival, departure and breaks for self and subordinates u00b7 Follows lawful directions from supervisors u00b7 Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct u00b7 Upholds the companyu2019s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements u00b7 Attends company meetings as required u00b7 Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area for self and subordinates in accordance with company policy u00b7 Other duties as assigned North Region Director of Parts Requirements: Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 3 - 5 years of Parts experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
