**Electrical Technician | Vancouver, BC** $45/hr **Job Description** As an Electrical Technician, you will diagnose and resolve electrical issues in various types of machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency. You will perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure reliable operation. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with millwrights and fellow electrical technicians to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and installations, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. It is essential to maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and company regulations. **Responsibilities** Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in machinery. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems. Collaborate with millwrights and other technicians for repairs, upgrades, and installations. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company regulations. Assist in the installation and configuration of electrical systems and components. Provide guidance and support to junior technicians or team members. **Essential Skills** Proven experience as an electrical technician with a strong knowledge in mechanical systems. Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications or technical training in electrical or mechanical systems. Valid full driver''''s license and ability to drive a company truck. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Electrician number red seal is ideal but not necessary. Familiarity with PLC''''s (programmable logic controllers) is a plus.
