Join us as we strive to instigate a new world! **The Opportunity** The School for Advanced Digital Technology (SADT) is looking for a proactive and systems-minded Curriculum Planning Lead to improve the way curriculum is managed, tracked, and optimized. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter who is comfortable analyzing complex processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing sustainable, quality improvements. You will go beyond data entry and maintenance. You''ll identify patterns and overlaps in curriculum, and recommend strategies to improve consistency, clarity, and scalability. Youll work closely with academic teams and admin partners, acting as a resource and problem-solver who understands both the big picture and the fine details. Youll also be an important lead for the curriculum REFRESH sessions ensuring the results of those sessions can be promptly implemented. ### **The Role** * + **Streamline Curriculum Processes:** Review and improve curriculum change procedures to eliminate inefficiencies, clarify workflows, and accelerate timelines. + **Analyze Curriculum Structures:** Analyze the structure of all SADT curriculum and identify overlaps, duplication, and opportunities for shared courses. + **Apply Systems Thinking:** Approach curriculum work with a holistic view, considering student experience, and institutional quality standards. + **Identify School-Wide Opportunities:** Track trends across programs to recommend curriculum improvements that benefit SADT as a whole, not just individual courses. + **Support Curriculum Planning Activities:** Participate in program REFRESH sessions and other curriculum-related projects, providing insight, organization, and follow-through. + **Build Stakeholder Understanding:** Develop and deliver curriculum procedures for academic staff to ensure clarity and consistency across programs. Part of this is participating in Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings to understand the context that curriculum changes are being triggered by. + **Use Tools with Purpose:** Utilize academic systems (Curriculog, Banner, D2L Brightspace) not just for documentation, but to extract insights and support informed decisions. ### **Qualifications** * + ***Minimum Requirements:*** + Bachelors degree + 35 years experience in a post-secondary institution working directly with curriculum or academic planning. + 3-5 years experience working among tech professionals (software developers, data scientists, IT professionals, etc.) + Experience understanding how industry feedback can be effectively implemented into curriculum. + Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative to improve processes. + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + A systems-thinking mindset with an ability to see connections and long-term implications. + ***Preferred Qualifications:*** + Masters degree in a related discipline (e.g., education, systems design, higher ed leadership). + Experience working across multiple programs or academic departments. + Advanced knowledge of curriculum management and academic planning tools (Curriculog, Banner, D2L Brightspace). + Experience facilitating or supporting academic staff. + Ability to translate data and feedback into actionable, strategic insights. **Job Classification:** Program Coordinator **Salary Range**: $65,624 - $88,524.80 **Hours per week**: 40hr **Posting End Date**: July 30th, 2025 **About SAIT** SAIT is a global leader in applied education.
