**Job Overview:** A Bread Affair is hiring a Farmers Market Sales Representative for summer and early fall in the Greater Vancouver area. This seasonal role offers 35 shifts per week, mostly on weekends, with start times as early as 6:00 am. If you''re outgoing, reliable, and enjoy working outdoors, come represent BCs first certified-organic bakery at local markets. **Responsibilities:** * Set up and take down market booth displays and bread products * Drive a company vehicle to and from the farmers markets (Class 5 drivers license or equivalent required) * Engage with customers, explain our products, and provide samples * Operate POS systems and handle cash/card transactions * Monitor and manage inventory levels throughout the day * Work with management to support promotions and seasonal campaigns * Keep the booth area clean, professional, and organized at all times * Represent the A Bread Affair brand positively to customers and vendors **Requirements:** * Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), including early morning starts * Valid Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent (required) * FoodSafe certification (preferred) * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Able to work independently with minimal supervision * Able to lift up to 50 lbs (20 kg) and stand for long periods * Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions * Punctual, organized, and trustworthy **Compensation and Perks:** $19.56/hour + tips Seasonal, part-time (2 shifts/week) and will add more if needed Contract length: 3 months Store discount Be a part of the vibrant outdoor communities of Farmer''s Markets **Shifts:** 8 to 12 hours per day depending on market location and customer traffic Typical shift starts between 6:00 am 8:00 am **Experience**: Customer Service: 1 year (preferred) Market or Event Sales: an asset Licence/Certification:Class 5 Driver''s License (required) FoodSafe (preferred) Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal Contract length: 3 months Pay: $19.56 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food * On-site parking * Store discount Application question(s): * Can you commute to our bakery on Granville Island for a 6:30 am - 8:00 am start time? * The shift length for this position can go anywhere from 8 hours to 12 hours (depending on how busy a day it is).
